Why do we get baptized? – We get baptized as a symbol. It shows the church that we are saved and want to follow Jesus and His example. It is a symbol of us being made new by Jesus and Salvation

Why do bad things happen to good people? – The Bible says in Romans 3:23 that “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” This means that everyone has messed up. How can God be good if so many bad things happen?– God is good. But people are bad, and the devil is bad. The Bible says in Romans 3:23 that “All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God.” This means that everyone has messed up. Everyone has done bad things. We “deserve” every bad thing that ever happened to us, because we are a fallen, broken people. God sometimes uses the “bad things” to teach us lessons, to give consequences for sin, to show His power, and to show us a tiny bit the suffering that Jesus went through when he was on the cross for us.
